Was going through some pictures and found these. I've been a lot of places in the world and there aren't many that rank higher than this particular spot. Sitting on the porch at Spring River Lake, Maine.
Yes, Mom does love it. The loons calling to each other across the water. The daybreak sun lighting up Tunk Mountain. The rare Northern Lights flashing up over the peaks. Cold spring water, the smell of balsom fir, the blue flash of a kingfisher, the blueberries, the cranberries, the soaring bald eagles with offspring. And on and on and so much more. Spring River holds a special place in my heart.
